Givi Motorcycle top case

The renewed design of the Maxia Black Edition features four painted black covers, a dark smoked reflector with a chrome inner part, and two elegant gloss black decorations on the base.
Particularly suitable for those who love long rides on their motorbike, whether alone or with company, the Maxia 5 top case can hold 2 large flip-up helmets and weighs 5.4 kg.
Opening and closing are made easier in this version: the comb hinges with stop allow for the elimination of retaining strings, and a light push on the cover enables a slow closure of the end of the cover.
The increased adhesion between the two shells also enhances security against break-ins.
Special attention has also been paid to comfort and practicality during travel: a black foam rubber backrest, which can be purchased separately, an elastic strap to keep the contents stable, and a soft mat applied to the base to prevent items from shifting and clashing. An elastic net, anchored to the top case via the 4 hooks on the base, is also included.
A technical fabric document holder and dedicated internal bag are available as options.

The new lock of the MAXIA 5 makes using the case even more convenient, thanks to a new key position at 60°:
by turning the key to this position, it is possible to remove it from the lock and open the lid, allowing access to the inside of the case at any time without necessarily having to insert the key.
This new option is advantageous for short trips, when quick access to the contents of the case may prove useful.
In the same position, however, it will not be possible to detach the case from the plate, keeping the top case securely mounted on the plate.

GIVI guarantees its cases a level of water resistance equivalent to heavy rain; specifically, the cases are tested with a special machine that simulates rain at a rate exceeding 20 litres/min.
