Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Tampering with welds on the db killer and the catalyst, or with tamper-proof screws, or removing brackets is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives, it is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public highway regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the assembly instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In the event of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without panniers, without a flashlight, and without a license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with repair rights, returning to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
