Are removable db killers allowed? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixation is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. The use of the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is certified for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
The kit can be used for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed in a professional workshop. No claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, and each silencer carries the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is advisable to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike solely on the track without saddlebags, without a flashlight, and without a number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into a race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, and any request for return will be rejected.
From the date of purchase, the right to repair applies with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
