Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the mount is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits; using the open version on roads is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it's still recommended to install them in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided along with the installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens, not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight, and without a license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this on the road will lead to loss of product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with right to repair with return to GPR factory or nearest official distributor at customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
