Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or the anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on the circuits. Using the open version on the road does not meet public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in cases of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or follow visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and license plate holder, or any other parts that might conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one for repair; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
