Removable DB KILLERS and catalytic converters: It is possible to remove the noise reducer (DB KILLERS) only for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
A specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If you encounter problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, requesting immediate information and/or advice from customer service.
If you buy online, it is advised to purchase the product from a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals, which must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items for your road network.
Is it limited to 95dB for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
Fits with the original gasket. No structural modifications of the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and without license plate holder or other parts that could conflict with the different angle of gas due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair to be returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard repair time.
