Db killers and removable catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it's still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. If you encounter problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
If you buy online, it's recommended to purchase the product from a SELLER IN YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle resulting from the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
