Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials and those on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if it were on the track only, without luggage, without a flashlight and registration plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to conversion to racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the time of purchase, the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense is maintained.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
