The profiles of the KAROO™ Street are derived directly from those of the TOURANCE™ NEXT, with the precise aim of improving on-road behavior.

It features a multi-radius profile with a wider, longer contour to increase the ground contact area and thus improve grip and stability even when leaning.

The height of the tread pattern has been significantly increased to enhance damping capacity and comfort.

The profile of the front tire follows the same pattern and geometry as that of the rear tire to ensure synchronized behavior.

Dry and wet grip

The KAROO™ Street features a high-silica compound with a balanced proportion of carbon black and resins to deliver excellent road grip in both dry and wet conditions.

Traction in all conditions

The tread design of the KAROO™ Street is derived from the layout of the KAROO™ 3 and its uniquely shaped lugs, with the precise aim of offering excellent road performance, even wear and a high level of stability combined with real cross-country capability.

Extra-large central studs create a wide, solid contact zone for high-speed stability on the road.
When riding off-road, the V-shaped stud layout and numerous active edges ensure grip during acceleration, traction and braking.
On the road, the stud layout reduces ground-contact vibrations and helps maximize wear uniformity and longevity.
Longitudinal grooves in the middle of the center blocks ensure water evacuation and the tire's self-cleaning capacity.
Wide transverse grooves allow the blocks to dig into the earth, ensuring off-road traction especially on compacted soil and clay.
